Your new company

Your new role
Joining a high-achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Science to KS4. The role is to commence as soon as possible and will operate, full time, ongoing on a temporary basis. What You Will Be Doing:

• Be able to prepare and maintain resources for L2, L3, Access to HE Diploma, A-level Biological Science. This will include preparation of micro-biological media and cultures
• Research, design and trial practicals, as required
• Set-up and remove equipment in laboratories, as required
• Clean and maintain equipment and apparatus
• Care for plant and animal collections
  
  What We Are Looking For:
• Level 2 qualification in Science, Maths and English at Grade C or above
• A relevant Lab Technician qualification and/or science study at level 4 or above
• Keep up to date with current laboratory practise
• Experience of working as a science technician in a laboratory
• Display initiative, be positive and enthusiastic
• Excellent IT skills
• Possess excellent communication skills
