Performs preventative maintenance and repairs to vehicles and equipm.....
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs to vehicles and equipment on property, i.e., tractors, trucks, automobiles, snow blowers, chain saws, hedge trimmers, farm equipment, lawn mowers, tillers, etc.
- Checks spark plugs, fan belts, tail pipes, hoses and similar items and makes replacements and adjustments.
- Rotates, replaces, and repairs tube and tubeless tires with a plugger or a hot/cold patch.
- Checks fluid levels in braking systems and power steering reservoirs.
- Lubricates vehicles and replaces oil and air filters.
- Tests batteries with a battery tester and a battery hydrometer.
- Records amounts of gasoline, oil, and other supplies issued, and keeps an inventory of gasoline and other supplies on hand.
