Your new role
This will be a busy role, the main purpose of the role will be to process customer sales orders and produce sales quotations. There isn't any sales or selling involved in this role. The successful applicant will join a busy sales administration department and this role would suit someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment. The role will involve direct customer support and the post would suit someone who builds excellent rapport and relationships with customers.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they hold previous experience of the duties and responsibilities of the post as outlined below;
- Responsible for accurate sales order processing, receiving orders, producing quotes and following up on quotes to secure orders in a timely manner or to SLA agreement with customer
- Produce accurate sales order quotes, templates are used but you will need to have a good eye for details to get the correct information into the quote

What does it take to be a great Apprentice Sales Associate?

As an Apprentice Sales Associate you’ll become a committed and dedicated member of the team, you’ll play a key role in helping the store to maintain performance and meet sales targets. Your Training

As an Apprentice Sales Associate you will undergo ‘Introductory and Silver’ levels of our formal ‘Signet Jewellery Academy’ training and development programme. You will also complete an Intermediate Retail Skills Apprenticeship with Technical Certificate and Key Skills. An experienced mentor will be on hand to support you for the duration of your Apprenticeship.

Your Rewards

We offer a training salary of £7.00 per hour, plus benefits, including sales incentives and staff discount. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

We are currently looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team. Your role as a Sales Consultant will involve:

• Using your natural ability to build rapport with our customers to advise them on Sleep wellness ™.

It should be noted that due to the nature of our products, the role will involve you and your colleagues moving product around in store and some cleaning tasks will be necessary to ensure the store and our products are in the best possible condition for our customers.

Our busiest times tend to be when our customers are free to come in and visit the store, which includes evenings, weekends and bank holiday weekends. You would be expected to cover some of these as part of your working week but, we understand the importance of a good work life balance so would not be expected to work all of them.

We are looking for Sales Consultants with pride, passion and a positive ‘can do’ attitude, devoted to delivering impeccable customer service with professionalism, ensuring our customers have an outstanding store experience. Driven to achieve your sales targets. You will enjoy engaging with customers and can adapt your approach as appropriate to build rapport and establish their needs.

Ideally you will have worked in a customer facing role previously and have confident communication skills, being able to spot sales opportunities and be resilient and resourceful when you need to be, daring to try new things to help your store succeed.

In return for your contribution to the store’s performance, we offer a base salary of £23,795 p.a. plus uncapped individual commission paid monthly on top of your salary once your minimum sales target is achieved.

Your new roleThis will be a busy role, the main purpose of the role will be to process customer sales orders and produce sales quotations. There isn't any sales or selling involved in this role. The successful applicant will join a busy sales administration department and this role would suit someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment. The role will involve direct customer support and the post would suit someone who builds excellent rapport and relationships with customers.The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they hold previous experience of the duties and responsibilities of the post as outlined below;
- Responsible for accurate sales order processing, receiving orders, producing quotes and following up on quotes to secure orders in a timely manner or to SLA agreement with customer
- Produce accurate sales order quotes, templates are used but you will need to have a good eye for details to get the correct information into the quote
-Contact customers to discuss the quote and obtain the order via email or phone, build relationships with customers

- Update Excel based reports ( An intermediate level of Excel will be required including ideally pivot table , v look up )
- Resolve invoice queries
- Check stock and notify customers of delivery dates/ changes to delivery dates
- Discuss alternative product lines with customers where necessary
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers if required
- Completing Excel based Sales reporting to show order updates and sales trends ( daily/ weekly / monthly)

What you'll need to succeedYou will ideally have previous Sales Admin / Inside Sales / Internal Sales Admin experienceYou will have excellent customer service experience
Intermediate level Excel skills needed
