DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Find & nurture potential leads by cold calling businesses in the target industry or zone. (Current target industry: CCTV & Alarms / Current target zone: Regional NSW / Riverina)
Engage existing customers: contact, manage and follow-up to convert them into consistent, long-term opportunities.
Enter & maintain (daily) customer details and interactions in the CRM (software) for all allocated customer accounts & new opportunities.
Conduct pre-sales assistance by understanding and translating customer requirements (including interpreting plans, reading customer correspondence (emails, RFQ’s)) and providing technical solutions. (Includes all contact types: phone, email, trade / sales counter)
Answer technical questions and explain applications and products differences / suitability.
Prepare quotations and proposals.
Follow-up, engage & adapt solutions as required.
Ensure current and proficient knowledge of the technical details and application of all the products.
Learn & perform product demonstrations and technical presentations as required.
Conduct training with customers to ensure efficient and best practice use of equipment (hardware), applications & device management platforms (software).
Installation/troubleshooting of solutions.
Testing, troubleshooting and processing (repair / replace) claims according to RMA (warranty) policy.
Ongoing design, upkeep and maintenance of company website.
Assist customers with website design & liaising with the company’s internal marketing department to support customers resource needs.
Set-up and maintain internal IT equipment & computer network (including computers, printers, CCTV system, Alarm system) and maintaining their current & appropriate software.
Other administration/office tasks as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
Relevant IT / Networking or computer science Certificate or Diploma preferred.
Previous Experience:
Software, hardware and/or network sales experience.
Customer service and/or support experience.
Website maintenance experience preferred but not required.
Previous experience with CRM (database) / accounting software a bonus.
Skills:
High level of skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
High level of verbal and written communication.
Outstanding phone etiquette.
Ability to work independently & meet KPI’s.
Expected Salary:
$70,000 - $80,000
