Role would have a team leader reporting into the who has approx 9 direct reports who are the customer and quality exec who log the defects.

The role is the manager position to ensure the TL and team log and complete all defects in the agreed timescales and work collaboratively with the construction teams to escalate where needed for swift resolution. A strong manager who could pick it up quickly with strong transferable skills. They definitely need to be strong on CRM, excel and reporting.

Qualifications:

A degree in business administration or a related field is often required.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of defect management as they may struggle otherwise with knowing what is wrong with the process/team etc.

Experience:

Experience in customer service, management, or quality assurance can also be beneficial.

Skills & Abilities:

Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to analyse data and make decisions based on their findings.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the Customer Care & Quality Team responsible for logging all defects and ensuring correct policies, procedures and requirements are in place to ensure the best quality new home for customers at the point of handover from delivery.

The role is responsible for benchmark snagging and handover standards, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure the standards are met and defects resolved in a timely manner. What we are looking for: Ideal candidate will have experience delivering excellent customer service in a customer focused organisation. We are looking for someone with great attention to detail, comfortable with working in a fast paced environment and proven ability to lead and manage a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the team of Customer Care & Quality Executives ensuring KPIs, objectives and targets are met
• Work closely with Delivery Team to ensure contractors are being managed to complete works within the agreed timescales
• Motivate, inspire, coach and develop individuals to achieve outstanding performance through personal leadership style and behaviour
• Responsible for setting and documenting the handover Standards agreed in the Employer Requirements and working with
• Delivery to ensure these are met

To manage Own Brand product development, quality and supplier base across various assigned categories by working closely with commercial, design and supply chain colleagues. To deliver the agreed NPD plans by providing technical expertise throughout the new product development process and ensure pre and post launch product compliance and supplier compliance with both ASW Guidelines and existing regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop Own Brand product ranges with the commercial team; setting out the technical and corporate social responsibility requirements.
2. Ensure all suppliers comply with and maintain compliance with ASW requirements.
3. Deliver the technical elements of the New Product Development process and ensure ongoing product and supplier compliance with ASW guidelines and relevant legal requirements.
4. Manage quality process within category, including for example product, packaging and pack claims. Ensure pack claims made can be substantiated; and quality issues are resolved with suppliers and other relevant departments.
5. Deliver the technical aspects of all critical paths to budget/cost and within set timescales.
6. Technical Expert – be an expert source of technical information, standards and legal requirements within assigned categories.
7. Regularly review and benchmark Own Brand products, with key competitors to ensure comparable quality is maintained.
8. Investigate customer complaints with suppliers, analyse trends from customer complaints or compliments and communicate accordingly to improve quality and performance of product.
9. Develop build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
10. Continually keep up to date with standards, legal requirements and technical innovation.
