As a Purchasing Administrator, you'll be integral to the operations, ensuring that every aspect of stock management, import/export, and freight processes runs smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Stock Management: Take the lead in overseeing inventory, conducting monthly stock checks, and ensuring accurate record-keeping to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Import/Export Coordination: Manage the import and export processes, handling all relevant documentation, compliance, and logistics to ensure smooth cross-border operations.
• Freight Management: Coordinate with freight forwarders and suppliers to arrange shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve any logistical challenges that arise.
• Order Processing: Handle purchase orders from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all orders.
• Supplier Liaison: Work closely with suppliers to maintain strong relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in Stock, Import/Export, and Freight: You bring significant experience in managing stock, coordinating import/export processes, and handling freight logistics, making you well-equipped to manage the complexities of this role.
• Attention to Detail: Your precision and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations.
• Strong Communication Skills: You'll need to liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams, so clear and effective communication is key.
• Team Player: You’ll be part of a collaborative team, so being able to work well with others and contribute to the team’s success is essential.
