This role reports to the Director, Visa Consumer Marketing and Partnerships AUNZSP and will be a key member of the Visa Marketing Team. A passionate group with a high-performance culture responsible for our brand health and delivering best in class consumer, client and merchant marketing and B2B marketing to drive business growth across Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific (AuNZSP).
Supporting the Senior Director and Director Consumer Marketing and Partnerships, the Senior Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising programmatic and social B2C campaigns across that drive growth for our Visa brand.
This role will support the expansion of our Media Advisory and Execution capability within our Marketing Services function through selling and executing engagements that help Visa’s clients (Issuers, Merchants, Acquirers, Fintechs) strengthen their business.
What a Senior Media Manager does at Visa:
- End-to-end campaign management. Plan and implement client campaigns across demand-side platforms (DSPs) such as Google Display & Video 360, The Trade Desk, as well as Google ads that are aligned with client’s campaign brief and KPIs.
- Manage & optimise budgets, establish bidding strategies, and targeting tactics to achieve campaign objectives while maintaining efficiency. The specialist should also be able to recommend platforms for consideration, and set target bids.
- Ensure creative assets provided are compliant with platform guidelines and best practices.
- Vendor management and negotiation (ie SSPs, ad exchanges, data providers) for private exchanges (PMP) programmatic guaranteed (PG)
- Create insightful and actionable reports to increase the effectiveness of client campaigns
- Work closely with Media Agency to ensure successful tracking and delivery of holistic campaigns (with Agency trafficking team).
- Set up in-housing workflows and templates from scratch. Ie work with vendors to set up platforms, establish ad ops process and work logs, automate media plans, reports and establishing timelines
- Contributes to the development of marketing services proposals and the presentation of these to clients
- Contribute to client sell in proposals, presentations and media implementational responses.
- Partners with the Director, Marketing BPO for the pipeline management, operating expenses and revenue associated with client marketing media projects.
This role provides subject matter expertise across a continuously changing industry for Visa and our clients and will be responsible in delivering solutions to address these changes.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
