Acorn by Synergie is currently looking for a Production Planner to join their client's team in Crewkerne. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, analysing production data to identify trends and improvements, and working closely with the production team to optimise resources and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient and timely production.
- Analyse production data to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to management.
- Work closely with the production team to align resources and scheduling according to production goals and targets.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and delays.
- Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor and report on production KPIs to track performance and identify issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse production data.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, techniques, and materials.
- Experience with production planning software is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
