Have you got the enthusiasm and confidence to take up the challenge of Aseptic Production Leader? We have a new post in the Pharmacy Technical Services department due to the build of a brand new Aseptic facility.
You will be working closely with the Head of Pharmacy Production and Chief Production Leader in the management of the day–to-day and strategic needs of Aseptic services.Working as part of the team within the Main Pharmacy department you will deliver a high quality, flexible and responsive service, whilst developing efficiency savings and ensuring regulatory compliance.
About our Pharmacy Service
To manage the preparation of Aseptic products as required for East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) and all Pharmacy (internal & external) customers, ensuring that GMP guidelines are followed at all times.
To monitor the Aseptics production workload and scheduling and organise adequate staffing to cover necessary activities and allocating work to staff as appropriate.
To dispense aseptically prepared products for inpatients and outpatients, including anti-cancer treatments (including cytotoxics), clinical trials, radiopharmaceuticals and other injectable dose products.
To support the recruitment, training and development of production staff, ensuring comprehensive training programmes are available and records are maintained.
Act as a Radiation Protection Supervisor, ensuring all staff are working to the Local Rules.
To coordinate, maintain and promote an efficient and economic production service, providing a reactive service in response to changing circumstances.
To support in the management and maintenance of the Pharmaceutical Quality System for production activities, working closely with the Quality Assurance team
