Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Agnes Court is home for 24 adults with physical disabilities. Located in Banbury town centre. We are on a main bus route and Banbury train station is a few minutes walk away.
About the role
As our Maintenance Coordinator you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient maintenance of the service and surrounding areas.
You will have responsibility for designated ancillary staff and will make sure that the safety of the service and all equipment is effectively maintained through regular checks and servicing. Decorating, fixing, replacing, clearing – there is always something to be done to keep the premises looking great!
You will also oversee vehicle safety and effectively coordinate repairs undertaken by outside contractors.
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have previous, relevant experience in an appropriate skill (e.g. plumbing or carpentry) or in a similar role.
• Understand the principles of workplace safety.
• Be able to perform physical tasks required by the job.
• Have previous supervisory experience.
• Have a Level 3 or 4 qualification in an appropriate skill (desirable).
• Have a driving licence (where required).
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
