Duties & Responsibilities

• In charge of Indirect Material sourcing/procurement, perform vendor selection, evaluation and monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal & external parties (e.g. vendors, transporters, shipping agents, forwarders etc.) on the indirect material requirement planning until goods delivery. Ensure accurate goods receipt in system and monitoring inventory.

ESTATE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• • Reporting to Senior Manager.
  • Responsible for overseeing all field operational activities for oil palm and fertigation related horticultural projects.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with the appropriate supervisors and foremen to make sure that the estate operates as efficiently as possible from planting through harvesting.
  • To monitor day-to-day plantation operations and to identify problem areas and take corrective actions, ensuring operating expenses and profitability are maximized and annual target plantings/harvests are met.

  • Resolve shipping-related issues and address customer inquiries regarding shipments.
  • Lead and train the shipping team, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Shipping Manager or in a similar logistics role, preferably in the agricultural industry.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and transportation management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform business decisions.
  • Experience managing teams and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Willing to work overseas
  • Overseas working experience and exposure to plantation industry are added advantages
