Job Summary:
In support of Fugro's digitalization journey, there is a need for IT to have strong focus in improving upon the IT landscape to support the changing business requirements. Digital and transformation adoption and its effective use play a key role in achieving this journey within Fugro.
The Digital Transformation Lead is a change role with a specific business focus. This role is key in supporting the business in successful digital transformation adoption and cost-effective use. This will be achieved by pro-active engagement with users to support digital adoption or usage.
The role also includes managing the development and implementation of in-house digital data systems within the region. Requirements include expertise in the development and implementation of digital systems, essential experience of field geo-data acquisition and a solid academic background in engineering geology.
The individual is a trusted advisor to regional management.
Job Duties:
· Work with business users of Digital/Cloud applications to understand and advise on cost optimisations and Life Cycle Management in processes
· Facilitate digital & transformation communication in both the region and globally to support information sharing
· Understand and define digital and transformation governance practices and policies with relevant teams to be implemented in the regions
· Work with Fugro Academy to transform business needs into a Digital & Transformation Training Program
· Support the Regional head of IT and the regional IT team in translating business requirements to digital transformation roadmap
· Collaborate closely with IT Services Domains to include governance and best practises in digital platform usage
Key responsibilities:
Analyse & Understand
· Translate business, innovation and IT needs into digital and transformation training program in cooperation with Fugro Academy
· Translate business, innovation and IT needs into digital strategy and roadmap in collaboration with relevant teams
Business Partnership & Communication
· Excellent communication skills to bridge between field operators, geotechnical practitioners, IT specialists and corporate process controllers within the organisational structure of an international leader in the field of geo-data management.
· Ability to represent the business when discussing digital data transformation systems with clients and other stakeholders, coupled with the skills to work in client-collaborative teams.
Implement policies and best practices
· Assist the business users to adopt digital and transformation policies, standards and tooling
· Support in implementation of cost optimisations initiatives
Facilitate
· Organise and facilitate regional training programs
· Act as facilitator for communication in digital & transformation community
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor/Master - Computer sciences, engineering, business, or relevant professional experience.
Working Experience: Ideal candidates would have work experience in both business analysis and IT technology roles. Experience in digital operations is preferred.
Management Experience: Ideal candidate has experience in managing people both from management and influence stand point
Certification: AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Azure Fundamentals as a minimum.
Additional certifications in domain are beneficial.
Other experience:
· Proven ability to take business strategy or vision and translate it into realistic, timely and cost-effective action plan;
· Proven experience in influencing and inspiring diverse groups of people sitting across various geographic locations to work as team.
