We're looking for Support Workers in theDolgellau area. As a Support Worker with Cera you will be playing a fundamental part in improving vulnerable people's lives through the care and support that you provide. You will be supporting people who have varying needs and abilities but include; learning disabilities, complex needs and mental health conditions.

Role highlights:
- Shift patterns consist of 12-hour block-pay - days or nights, part-time or full-time, we are flexible on the days you work although some weekend working is essential
- This role requires you to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
- Opportunity to complete either NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care (through work-based learning) and further progression opportunities

Are you the person who can support individuals to live independently in their own home whilst promoting a safe, healthy and secure living environment? It is your personality that matters most with this role, you will be friendly, patient, able to interact and build relationships and overcome communication barriers, you will be happy to integrate into their lives and help with all aspects of daily living which can even include accompanying them on holidays and at social events! You'll also encourage those you support to build their own social network and interact with families and friends.
A small cohort of our individuals who live in our supported living homes have the capability to lead and live independent lives, your support will help enable them to maintain their independence and live their best life. The role may include elements of personal care.
If you are kind and compassionate, patient and friendly then you will make the perfect support worker - no experience is required and full training is given, we are keen to speak to you.
^In Wales, all social care staff must register with the Social Care Wales (SCW) which incurs an annual fee. You must also work towards achieving a recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification within your first 3 years as a Social Care worker.
