What skills and experience we're looking for
Leigh Academies Trust is seeking a dedicated Central Information Systems Officer to join our central head office team. This role is vital for ensuring our academies effectively use information systems like Provision Map and Bromcom to enhance educational delivery and student outcomes.
As the Central Information Systems Officer, you will lead the implementation and standardisation of these systems across all our academies. You will create clear implementation plans, work with key stakeholders, and ensure the systems are smoothly integrated and adopted. You'll also provide guidance and support, develop best practices, and stay updated on new technologies.
The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for information systems like Provision Map and Bromcom, possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, and have experience in designing and delivering effective training. Excellent ICT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, are essential. Strong technical skills, project implementation experience, and a background in standardising information systems within an educational setting are highly desirable.
This role is based at our central head office, but reasonable travel to academy sites will be required to fulfill the responsibilities.
If you are organised, proactive, and ready to make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you.
What the school offers its staff
As part of Leigh Academies Trust, you will have ample opportunity to collaborate with your peers both within the academy and across the whole Trust. This is an important part of our vision as we know through experience that we perform better when we work together. You are supported to undertake regular self-development to continue your professional development and hopefully progress further within the organisation.
Commitment to safeguarding
Leigh Academies Trust and all of our academies are committed to ensuring the highest levels of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, and we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We adopt a fair, robust and consistent recruitment process across all academies and business units which is inline with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. This includes online checks for shortlisted candidates - you can read more about this in our Recruitment Guidance. All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check.
