Mersey and West Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Information Department.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Information Analyst to effectively analyse and interpret information, supporting departments across the organisation to understand their waiting lists and RTT position amongst other priorities.
The post holder will have a good knowledge of acute health services, a range of appropriate technical skills and the ability to analyse, explain and present complex data. This role is key to ensuring monitoring of our Waiting Lists is as effective as possible.
This role is an opportunity to use excellent technical skills and experience to provide clear and timely insights into Waiting Lists across the organisation. Alongside this, there is the opportunity to be a subject matter expert who can work with operational teams to help them develop or alter processes to ensure improvements are realised and sustained.

Mersey and West Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust provides healthcare in hospital and the community to 258,000 people across St, Helens, Whiston, Newton, Southport, Formby and West Lancashire.
Acute care is provided at Southport and Formby District General Hospital, Ormskirk District General Hospital and Whiston Hospital. This includes adults’ and children’s accident and emergency services, intensive care and a range of medical and surgical specialities. Women’s and children’s services, including maternity, are provided at Ormskirk and Whiston hospitals
The North West Regional Spinal Injuries Centre at Southport hospital provides specialist care for spinal patients from across the North West, North Wales and the Isle of Man.
The Trust also provides sexual health services for the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton.
