The starting salary for this full-time, permanent position is £27,897 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

Our role
The Family Information Service plays a pivotal role in ensuring families have access to the resources they need to stay healthy, safe and well-informed about the opportunities available to them. As part of the 'Early Help' system, we are dedicated to working collaboratively with families and partner organisations to make a lasting difference. Additionally, we deliver the SEND Local Offer.
Your opportunity
As a key member of our team, you will respond to families and practitioners who reach out to us for guidance and support through our enquiry service. Your role also extends to creating content for our website and social media and updating the directory of services, ensuring that our information remains current and accessible.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who will thrive on connecting with families who might be facing diverse challenges. Whether you're engaging with our families, crafting compelling materials for publication or navigating content management systems; you'll play a crucial role in amplifying our impact. Your ability to communicate effectively, be it over the phone, email, letters or face-to-face interactions, will be vital.
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your CV and personal statement will need to evidence the following:
- Some experience of supporting children, families and professionals
- Excellent communication skills across various channels
- Proficiency in writing for the web, social media or other communication platforms
- Familiarity with, or knowledge of, the Family Information Service
