Semi Senior Accountant (Accountancy firm)

The Client:
Our client is a reputable accountancy firm, delivering comprehensive and effective tax and accounting solutions.
The Role:
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will process VAT returns for clients, addressing different schemes and resolving queries.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and review statutory accounts for limited companies, ensuring precision and proper reconciliation.
- Prepare CIS returns along with accounts for self-employed individuals and rental properties.
- Conduct book-keeping tasks and handle various administrative duties as required.
- Adhere to internal procedures and interact with clients and external parties.
- Manage company secretarial tasks, including preparing stock transfer documentation.
- Evaluate and review the work completed by other team members.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Ideally be part qualified / fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT.
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping.
- Skilled in Excel, Sage, and other accounting software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organisation and time management abilities.
