GMCA is looking for an experienced and dynamic programme manager to deliver the GM Creative Health Place Partnership programme.

The role with provide programme management support across a number of work streams and support the team deliver GM’s ambition to become a creative health city region, where access to culture and creativity supports residents to live well. This is your chance to join a dynamic team working across GMCA and GM Integrated Care and at the forefront of creative health strategy and delivery.

Creative Health forms part of Live Well, Greater Manchester’s commitment to help people manage the pressures of life, live as well as they can and find purpose through good work, in partnership with communities and you will be part of the wider Live Well team, working in a fast paced and stimulating environment.

The programme focusses on the role of culture and creativity in addressing health inequalities across the life course, but with a particular emphasis on early years and school readiness, neurodivergent young people, global majority mental health, adults with long term conditions and older people’s brain health. Additional workstreams will focus on sustainability and include intelligence and data, workforce development and leadership. Role Overview:

I am looking for a Health & Safety Advisor, who has experience on a live construction site operating as the Health & Safety Advisor.

As the Safety, Health & Environment Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, delivery, and review of a variety of projects across Somerset.

Key tasks:

• Assist with the development, auditing and improvements
• Advise, assist and support in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental to ensure all requirements are addressed across all departments
• Create and deliver internal workshops and toolbox talks to increase knowledge and promotion of essential HSE information
• Liaise, negotiate and influence with relevant partners both internally and externally
• Prepare reports and analysis from Safety and Environmental information and statistics
• Provide appropriate and accurate information in a timely manner to the Senior Manager
• You will report directly to the Senior Manager
