The role
As a Health Physics Surveyor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Your contributions will help maintain safety standards through the execution of radiation and contamination surveys.
Day-to-day, you'll ensure health physics activities are conducted in line with regulatory, company, and customer requirements.

Perform Health Physics surveys (radiation and contamination) and complete survey reports in line with local procedures.

Maintain registers of radiation sources, record daily checks, and report defects.

Organize, set up, and use air sampling equipment when necessary.

Provide Health Physics coverage during operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Train and mentor trainee surveyors and provide radiological coaching to work teams.
This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based on site at Whetstone
Essential experience of the Health Physics Surveyor
Qualifications for the Health Physics Surveyor

City and Guilds Stage 1 in Radiation Safety OR NVQ Level 2 in Radiation Protection is desirable, or candidates must be willing to obtain this qualification.

CCNSG Safety Passport (or equivalent) is desirable, or candidates must be willing to obtain it.
Security Clearance
