POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is an entry level role that performs the general day to day activities of employee relations. The core functions described are typically lower in complexity and are performed with close oversight by leader, Employee Relations Consultant (ERC), and Employee Relations Center of Excellence. POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for scheduling across the campus for physicians, medical facilities, and specialized medical practices by coordinating all aspects of scheduling including, but not limited to, appointments for physicians across the campus, surgical procedures, diagnostic tests, pain management, and other specialized tests and treatment as directed by physicians to ensure an exceptional customer experience at each point of service. Using a broad understanding of customer engagement strategies, clinical procedures, and company facilities, this position provides accurate and timely information to create an integrated, multidisciplinary schedule and an experience that is easy, empathetic, and differentiated in the oncology marketplace.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Schedules medical appointments through coordination of patients, providers, facility resources, ancillary staff, records, referrals, authorizations, and payers. Receives and initiates calls to/from patients, providers, provider offices and facilities, while following all established scheduling procedures and protocols to ensure patients receive the care they need, when and where they need it.

2. Receives physician’s orders and effectively schedules and reschedules appointments, tests, and/or procedures leveraging various electronic medical record/scheduling software systems according to protocols established by clinical staff and scheduling standards. Identifies alternative scheduled solutions in the event the patient’s preference is not available, while adhering to procedures and protocols and ensuring patient safety.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is the first point of contact at healthcare facilities and assists patients with the administrative aspect of gaining access to medical treatment. POSITION SUMMARY
This position independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.

2. Applies and manages mechanical ventilators in collaboration with physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners, recommending adjustments to improve clinical condition, patient comfort and to expedite the weaning process.

3. Assembles, disassembles, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, cleans and performs adjustments in the applications of durable medical equipment and circuitry used in the delivery of respiratory care as prescribed in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.

4. Performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.

5. Performs patient assessments and evaluates patient response to care provided, making recommendations to physicians regarding the plan of care, appropriate use of respiratory therapy and modification of therapy as clinical condition changes. Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, Banner Home Care/Hospice or Boswell Skilled Nursing Facility must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.

2. Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.

3. Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.

4. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies if applicable.

5. Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. Demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to safety policies.

6. Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to the radiology practice. This includes maintaining confidentiality of all work information.

7. Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.

8. Independently performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols to patients. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology programs. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) based on modalities in which they will be conducting work and licensure by the state regulatory agency as applicable. As of August 1, 2019, all Multi-Modality Technologist's hired on or after August 1,2019 will be required to have an advance certification by an accrediting body in a specialty if applicable. BLS certification required.

This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience. Must be actively working in each certified modality, in accordance with the needs of the facility. The Multi-Modality Technologist I will be required to rotate and cover department scheduling as needed and required in areas where obtained certifications apply. Multi-Modality Technologist I requires certification in two (2) or more of the following modalities: Radiologic (X-ray), Computed Tomography (CT), Bone Densitometry (DEXA), Mammography, Breast Sonography, Angiography.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for delivering Cybersecurity objectives to plan and designing, developing, and implementing, efficient business, technical, financial, and operational practices or systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This individual is competent to work at the highest practical understanding of the Essential Functions across the Cybersecurity organization. You will be required to apply proven communication, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of Cybersecurity practices and investments. Provides all customers. both internal and external, of Banner Health with excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Support process enhancement and redesign efforts to streamline Cybersecurity delivery. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and processes to develop strategies for improving or further leveraging, consolidating, or decommissioning.

2. Provide insight into scope and parameters of required analysis in order to define outcome criteria and deliver measurable actions as part of daily efforts as well as in projects.

3. Contribute to the determination of key data points from raw data and generate information to create meaningful actionable metrics and represent at an executive level.

4. Support research efforts to make recommendations.

5. Operate in compliance with all federal, state, and local mandated information security laws, rules, and guidelines. Remain current with the latest industry information.

6. Ability to work within procedures with minimal oversight

7. Ability to communicate effectively with leaders at all levels of the organization.

8. Under general direction, this position is responsible for information security across multiple departments system-wide and requires interaction at all levels of staff and management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess strong knowledge of business, cybersecurity, information technology and/or computer science as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree. Certification may be required in at least one of the following areas within one year of entering the position. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Payment Card Industry - Internal Security Assessor (PCI-ISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), HealthCare Information Security & Privacy Practitioner (HCISSP), CompTIA Security+ or other certification designated by the Information Security Leader.

Must possess three years of experience in a healthcare or related environment or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and healthcare experience. Must demonstrate expertise in information technology and healthcare. Needs experience in medium to large scale project planning and reporting either individually or in a team. Requires communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels. Ability to balance project workloads with customer support and on-call demands. As is typical in this industry, variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a pager may be required.

Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products and other tools depending on position requirements.

Advanced degree may substitute for work experience.
