This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to lead our social care finance function.
At the heart of the Council’s finances, you’ll help secure the long-term financial stability and sustainability of the Council, advising the Council’s executive leadership on its strategic financial planning. As a key member of the Council’s management, you’ll be responsible for producing the annual revenue and capital budgets, along with in-year reporting and forecasting. You’ll manage several teams including those responsible for treasury, taxation, and corporate reporting.
It will be no surprise that you’ll be experienced in finance. With a proven track record of providing professional financial advice in local government. As well as, excellent leadership skills and behaviours, including leading with confidence and integrity.
