The Opportunity
Our front office teams, deliver a true hospitality experience to all our guests, from welcoming the guests, and describing hotel facilities available while offering a professional, friendly, and engaging service.
YOU will be a positive and engaging individual, with a passion for making guests smile and will receive guests in a professional and friendly manner, handling all customer check-ins’ or inquiries.
As the front-facing member of the team, you will ensure you are always presentably engaging in positive communication with the team and department, always acting as a professional, and delivering consistently exceptional hospitality service to all guests at the hotel.

Ideal Candidate
- YOU will have experience working within a busy hotel front desk environment (Preferred)
- At least 12 months of supervisory experience
- Highly motivated and proactive; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office, Financial systems) and numeracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experienced user of Opera, Delphi, and Microsoft Office (Preferred)
- A positive and engaging demeanor.
- Be able to do duty management responsibiliy

An equal distance from junctions 11A and 12 of the M5, if you’re travelling north or south, we’re only a 5-7-minute drive from the motorway.
The hotel has 95 bedrooms including 6 family rooms, meeting rooms for up to 180 delegates. A Civil Ceremony licence and versatile wedding suite for up to 200 guests. Health club with squash court and beauty treatment area and a swimming pool and children’s pool.
Plus, the hotel is within walking distance of Gloucester Golf Club and Gloucester ski and snowboard centre with one of the UK’s longest ski slopes. And you find miles and miles of cycling routes and beautiful walks in the nearby Cotswolds and Forest of Dean.
