The project is expected to last around 2 years and will involve building a new rail line branching from the current line to assist in the delivery of materials for the build of Sizewell C.

There’s a permanent opportunity for you here as an Engineer Supervisor to join our Sizewell site in Leiston, Suffolk

This role is responsible for managing and leading the contract engineer team and have full responsibility for monitoring all aspects of the Pre Planned Maintenance (PPM) Statutory compliance tasks assigned by the contract support team aligned with the client agreed PPM Planner. As a working Supervisor you are to complete the Statutory PPM’s with the engineering teams.

The Role
• Ensure at all times the implementation of Dalkia processes, comply with the contract's safe systems of work, Point of Work Risk Assessments and Toolbox talks completed by the Supervisor.
• Advise the contract support team on the construction of the plan for the immediate future (up to one week ahead) and tasks that are high profile, disruptive, high-risk complexity.
• Daily Responsibility and Accountability for agreed completion dates for all PPM’s in reducing “Target Date” failures (TD’s), and work within the requirements of current Health & Safety Legislation.
• Contract Delivery: To liaise and communicate directly with the Contract Manager to ensure the continuity and smooth running of individual PPM tasks are adhered to on a daily basis.
• Take ownership to Motivate, Lead and Encourage a strong Health and Safety culture and Team Building at ALL times. Manage, control, and audit the performance of all engineers and subcontractors, dealing with any issues escalated by the contract team or client.
• Responsibility and Accountability for your time keeping with each task in order to minimise delays and non-compliance. To work within the budgetary restrictions of each individual task and be Accountable for delivery within time scales and costs.
• Commercial: To understand the contract deliverables and the implications of good performance and practices in order to minimising risk. Understand the client priorities in order to inform delivery and decision making.
• Reporting: To lead the understanding and utilisation of the contract CAFM system Aurora and best practice. Ensure all tasks are opened and closed correctly with the actual time assigned to the task.
• Include all electronic notes, paperwork, or photographs to substantiate the checks completed. Sense and quality check all items uploaded as required on to the CAFM system.
• Provide reporting/updates including the Contract Manager and Contract Support teams as necessary to demonstrate the fulfilment of contract requirements. To help the production of data for inclusion within monthly report to customer in relation to both operational, health and safety and commercial aspects.
• Customer: Build a strong customer focus among all staff, ensuring timely liaison in line with escalation policy. Manage customer expectations around any task that is high profile, disruptive, overdue or requires complex planning in line with escalation policy.
• Monitor engineer absence and compete a same day ‘Return to Work’ (RTW) meeting and record and upload the findings on to the Dalkia portal.
• As part of the management team you will be required to review CV’s for potential new staff and recruitment, Interviews, probation and first steps disciplinary action with meetings of concern. Line management responsibilities for conducting and implementing staff PDRs under your supervision. Mentoring apprentices and apprentice reviews liaising with HR.
• Learning & Development: Provide ongoing support and development of the team and support individual objectives as part of talent planning.
• Leadership: Demonstrate consistently high standards of leadership, energy, and ownership as a role model for the team.

We are seeking a pro-active, detail-focused person with a background in engineering to join our client in a varied Operations Coordinator role. This is a position that requires a ‘can do’ adaptable, flexible nature, quick thinking and good administrative and IT skills.

Our client is based just outside Bury St Edmunds. This is a full-time, permanent role based at their manufacturing facility from 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. The Role

This brand-new position has been created to support the operations of the business, working under both the Operations Director and Production Manager and alongside the Stores Coordinator. It is a super varied job, where training will be given to the right person to help them feel confident and be competent in the different aspects the role.

Duties will involve:

Raise the appropriate documentation for the manufacture of new units.
Issue up-to-date bills of materials to the Stores Department for kitting of parts.
Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to procure parts required for the Production process.
Liaise with the Production Engineers to assist with quality issues and build schedules.
Create manual packs and upload to website for customer access
Ensure all build files have certifications, build information and build pictures.
Carry out final quality checks on completed unit builds, liaise with Production Engineers for any required rework.
Support the Production Manager with upkeep of COSHH, Health & Safety and Risk Assessment records.
During busy times and during annual leave, support the Operations Director by processing parts orders including quotation, acknowledgement of customer purchase orders, raising of documentation and invoice.
Liaise with the Stores Department for timely despatch of parts orders.
Support the Stores Coordinator at busy times and during annual leave by receiving goods-in, checking deliveries, booking them in, putting them away in the Stores or issuing to the relevant department.
Receive documentation from Sales and Service Departments and pack and despatch spares parts, service kits and units as required.
Raise purchase orders as required to replenish stock levels.
Support the team in implementing small to large projects within the company to improve Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental and Efficiency.
Alongside the rest of the team, answer the phone, deal with enquiries and be a helpful and professional presence in the business.

Engineering Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with technical skills to support our engineering team to install new conveyor systems within our organisation for a 6 to 9 month fix term contract

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Project planning

Field verification of drawings and identifying interference's with existing/new equipment

Raise updates for different project phases, and address concerns, if any, from different groups, prior to start of works onsite.

Project execution

Set-up and manage daily calls with vendors, Provide daily report summary.

Site visits to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback. Frequency of site visits to be agreed, address any concerns during these site visits. Escalate any concerns if needed.

Manage any ordered materials (signage, racking, SBL) to be received onsite, inventory and identify any gaps. Coordinate with Ops/RME to transport materials for the material movement and installation.

Coordinate with IT, obtain IDF keys and monitor IDF cabinets during data cable terminations. Validate cable installation and functionality with IT.

Supporting site acceptance tests (4-5d continuous onsite presence)

Project closure

Obtain all documentation from vendor and validate list against vendor deliverables. Validate basic document content (for ex. Declaration of conformity signed, correct DS name, etc.)

Transfer all documentation to appropriate storage location

Qualifications Experience

Working experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering or equivalent

Working experience as Project Manager of medium complex projects

Proficiency in tools: AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel
