Working under the guidance and direction of the Clinical Lead, you will have a strong clinical focus, playing an active role in ensuring that the medication/nursing needs of each resident are delivered effectively. Supporting the home with the expected clinical/nursing standards, promoting a high level of individualised care, ensuring all statutory and regulatory standards are maintained.
• Monitor standards of care, ensuring all staff on your shift contribute to the best of their ability.
• Ensure resident needs are being met by interaction and observation on each shift
• Report and incidents/accidents, areas of concern to the Home Manager & Clinical Lead
• Shift times are predominantly 07.00 - 19.00 (days) or 19.00 - 07.00 (nights).

Person Specification

The successful applicant must have:

• GCSEs in certain subjects are preferred, such as Maths, English, or Health and Social care
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental Health Nurse.
• Previous experience in community setting
• Fully enhanced DBS
• Car driver and valid UK license is preferred
