Radis Community Care are looking for a Multi-Site Service Manager to support our 3 Extra Care Schemes in Cambridge City Centre, Cambridgeshire.

About the role

As a Service Manager you will be promoting a caring environment for customers through high standards of professional practice, making sure each customer receives care appropriate to their needs. You will ensure compliance with all company, local and national standards whilst overseeing quality assurance ensuring these activities are carried out, monitored, recorded and reported.

The role will be supporting the area manager in the assessments of individuals who are referred for housing, care and support services at the facility ensuring that a personalised support plan is developed for each tenant in conjunction with the relevant professional agencies and the tenant’s family and/or representative. You will be also assisting the Area Manager in the preparation of rosters that ensure sufficient staff are available at all times and that they are deployed as efficiently and effectively as possible so that the needs of tenants can be met.

You will also be required participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis’ housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

You will have substantial experience of providing care and support services for vulnerable adults. You will have previous supervisory/management experience with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, working towards level 5. Good commercial acumen committed to setting and maintaining high standards with good IT skills.

Community Registered General Nurse

Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within the community team, Based in Cambridge

The team sits within the community district team with the role predominately be monitoring patients, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in their conditions to provide the most suitable care and advice and performing routine procedures such as administering non-intravenous medications, taking blood pressure measurements and completing patients' charts. As part of this role you will need to have the following training: basic life support, manual handling, anaphylaxis treatment, CBG/Blood, Blood Glucose Monitoring, CPR, Insulins A32, tissue viability B38, wound care and dressings, eye drops and ear drops, enema administration, intra-muscular/sub-cut injections. It is essential for this role that you hold a driving license with access to a vehicle and business insurance.

The hours for this role are 37.5, working over 5 days with the shift patterns being monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00/18:00

The hourly rate for this role is: £21.00 Per Hour

Community Pyschiatric Nurse

Opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within the Older Persons Team, Based in Cambridge.

The hourly rate for this role is: £26.00 Per Hour

The team sits within the Older Adults Team with the role predominately managing a caseload of diverse service users, delivering a range of clinical skills and building a therapeutic and recovery-based relationship. You will be taking on the role of care co-ordinator for clients and provide leadership to support others and ensuring that full assessment of individual care. needs are undertaken. There care must be planned, implemented and reviewed on a regular basis. As part of this role you will be acting as a role model and promote effective teamwork across the service to meet individual client needs. You must be able to ensure that the CPA and Mental Health Act is adhered to at all times, and to work within the boundaries set out by the Trust' Policies and Procedures.

This role is to commence ASAP and will be 30 hours (4 Days) working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
