About this role:

We have an exciting 9-month fixed-term opportunity for you to join Eastlight's Finance team as a Service Charge Administrator!

In this role, you will support the finance team, particularly the Rent and Service Charges Accountant with day-to-day tasks, preparation of SC estimates and actuals, managing service charge inbox, raising purchase orders, providing support to ensure the correct coding of expenditure, and other administrative duties.

Our successful Service Charge Administrator will:

• Monitor and administer any void and development scheme utility bills, to ensure that invoices provided by suppliers correctly reflect Eastlight’s liability
• Reconciliation of high-volume data.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve any queries on service charge-related expense invoices.
• Assist in the management of service charges expense nominals on a monthly basis to ensure correct invoice allocation and accruals.
• Raise purchase orders specifically related to service charges or as required.
• Monitoring of landlord utility bills, liaising with our external management provider.
• Support the year-end service charge and rent-setting process.

AMHP Senior Social Worker

This role involves working a condensed week (37 hours per week across 4 weekdays). The successful postholder will be expected to be office based from either the Colchester or Basildon office.

Operating within ECC as a hub and spoke model, the AMHP Service is transforming, and posts have become available as we expand the core aspect of the daytime service. The transformation of the service is from one centralised AMHP 'hub' to two.

The Service takes referral 9-5 Monday to Friday and is supported by the Essex Emergency Duty Service outside of these times.

The Role

The Approved Mental Health Professional Service has a unique position in ensuring compliance with the statutory functions imposed upon the Local Authority by the Mental Health Act. The service will be responsible for delivering the AMHP rota. The service will undertake statutory assessments, triaging initial enquiries in line with statutory duties.

As a Senior Social Worker you will be passionate and experienced in demonstrating expert and effective practice in complex situations often in pressurised environments. You will be able to manage workloads and support colleagues with complex cases, with an ability to mitigate high levels of risk. We're looking for Female Housing Project Workers to join a local Housing Association and help empower women to rebuild their lives. This role is protected under the Equality Act 2010, which allows a Women's Housing Shelter to seek female-only workers if it is an "occupational requirement" to safeguard privacy, dignity, or well-being. This ensures the shelter can meet the specific needs of its service users while remaining legally compliant.
THE ROLE
As a Housing Project Worker, you will provide tailored support and advice to women facing multiple disadvantages, using a trauma-informed and gender-specific approach.

• Deliver personalised housing support to women with complex needs
• Advocate for residents to ensure access to essential services
• Maintain a psychologically informed environment for recovery
• Develop risk management plans for each resident
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support
• Assist women in securing welfare benefits and legal rights
• Ensure safety, health, and wellbeing in HARP properties

THE CANDIDATE
You will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and the ability to work with individuals who have experienced homelessness

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for homelessness support
• Experience working with complex needs and anti-social behaviour
• Ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations
• Strong communication and partnership-working skills
