Service Care Solutions have an opportunity for Waste Recyling Assistants to join a client we are working with in Leicestershire.

Working in the role of Waste Recyling Assistant, you will be based at Lount Recycling and Household Waste Recycling Centre based Ashby-de-la-Zouch in on a full time temporary contract assisting customers to dispose of waste materials whilst maximising site recycling rates.
Key duties will include:

• Assist and advise with the recycling and disposal of waste materials at all RHWS, offering to show or help customers rather than tell them the correct place to deposit their waste
• Ensure waste streams are not mixed, and are separated correctly
• Maintain and ensure clean loads of recyclates before sending to disposal point and that loads that leave the site are not contaminated
• Maintain RHWS services in accordance with Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems and follow health and safety procedures and safe systems of work
• Maintain compliance with all legislative requirements including the site operating and environmental licenses
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Check permits for vans and trailers, or for permitted waste
• Ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service and recycling rates
• Communicate with customers, responding to queries or complaints. Build effective relationships through customer contact and consistency of approach in all customer communications

Requirements for this role:
Be flexible to work outside of normal working hours including bank holidays, weekends and out of hours working.
Working at different Waste Recycling Centres
Attend training courses, meetings and conferences

Your role will be to provide day to day 1st and 2nd line support for all services, user provisioning and achieving resolution against set SLAs.
The job function includes end user support by telephone, face to face, email, via a ticketing system, remote assistance, as well as proactive checks. This role is broad and covers support of all business systems, any issues affecting IT services and infrastructure including desktop, laptop, mobile devices, telephony, and printing technology.


What you'll need to succeed

You should have developed a good level of understanding in a similar previous role in the areas of :

Windows 10 Operating systems, configuration, and support.
Microsoft SCCM and application deployment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Service Management ticketing platforms - Ivanti desirable
