Eku Energy is thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Manager in Japan to join our vibrant team. As a Construction Manager, you will be integral to the preparation and management of the asset management phase of our projects, encompassing both construction and operations.
The role involves supervising all the construction work executed by a contractor, provide guidance, consultation, and advice to ensure proper construction of BESS facilities.
Based in Tokyo, Toranomon you will have the chance to work closely with our dynamic team. Reporting operationally to the Project Manager, you will contribute to our mission of driving the transition towards a low-carbon, sustainable global economy through our innovative battery storage investments.

· On-site base supervision of the contractor’s work for the construction quality, consultation of construction methodology, work progress, work safety and worker health management.
· Technical document check including as-built drawing and approval.
· Report the construction work progress, any arising issues, proper remedial action plans for them and confirm those actions are done properly to Project Manager, CEE, WHSE Manager and the like.
Competencies of the role
•5years+ work experience for 22kV+ electrical facility as 1st/2nd Class Electric Works Execution Manager (1級/2級電気工事施工管理技士) [Must]
•Driver’s License [Must]
•Excellent team-oriented personality [Must]
•Excellent communication skill in Japanese (English) [Must (Preferable)]
•Excellent digital tool use skill [Preferable]
1st (2nd) class Qualified Certified Electrician (第1種電気工事士) [Preferable]
