Qualifications required
• As part of the
apprenticeship Katmex Ltd will fund and support the Production Planning
Apprentice in achieving a Business administrator Level 3 apprenticeship.


• GCSE or
equivalent in English and maths + 3 others (grade 9 – 4 or A*- C) is essential.


• Intermediate
knowledge of a variety of IT packages including Microsoft: excel, word and
outlook would be beneficial but not essential.


• Due to
occasional travel to Seaham a valid driver’s licence and access to your own car
would be beneficial but not essential.


• No previous experience is required
as on the job training will be provided.

Managing large scale projects within and across the programme, following a clear project management methodology and report progress against defined actions Manage multi-disciplinary teams associated with the delivery of identified projects, ensuring work is defined and delivered on time and utilising people management skills to get the most out of team members. Coordinate the work of different workstreams within the project, ensuring the phasing of activity within the overall workplan and the compilation of both broad and detailed plans. Be responsible for developing and maintaining information systems in relation to projects, ensuring clear audit trails are maintained and that information is shared and owned collectively. Provide high level technical advice to the Project Director, Programme Board and, where appropriate organisations so that project delivery is maximised.

Specific Duties To promote the safe, effective, appropriate and economic use of medicines as defined by National Statute, Regulatory frameworks or Trust Policies. To lead in the project management of the nursing aspects of implementation of the medicines optimisation strategy throughout the Trust, particularly preparing new wards or reinforcing procedures on existing wards, and by acting as a resource on Medicines Optimisation for other members of the MDT. To assist with the production and update of policies and appropriate documentation for any new systems relating to medicines management. To ensure a high standard of nursing care regarding medicines optimisation is maintained by contributing to revision/creation of guidelines/care pathways and through reflective practice and input to the nurse management agenda. To create/deliver educational programmes and specialist training for medicines optimisation for all health care staff. To provide medicines optimisation information on audit, effectiveness, errors, interventions, efficiency, and any other data/information necessary to measure performance. To share incident learning, national and local, with all health care professionals as appropriate. To monitor departmental responses to national drug alerts and compile reports for the medicines safety committee. To provide forward audit planning and co-ordination. To complete audits and reports where appropriate e.g. medicines storage arrangements in clinical areas, adherence to Trust policies Participates in the training of nursing preceptorship students and pre-registration pharmacy graduates and technicians in medicines optimisation. With exciting projects, this role is a Leadership and management role of the Company Construction Management team across the full lifecycle of the portfolio of construction projects. This is a senior management position and will interact with the company senior management team, reporting to the operations Director as the stage between design and construction phases.
