What you will be working on
You will take the lead in managing a team of officers responsible for overseeing the daily disbursement operations for various schemes. Your role will involve ensuring that payouts to beneficiaries are both prompt and accurate, maintaining high standards of efficiency and reliability in all transactions.
In this role, you will:
· Oversee daily disbursement activities to ensure timely and accurate payouts to beneficiaries.
· Ensure accuracy in payment adjustments and promptly rectify any flagged payment anomalies.
· Maintain smooth operations with timely responses to complex payment inquiries from the Case Management Team.
· Lead the implementation of system enhancements to optimise payment processes in line with strategic goals.
· Foster strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration on scheme implementations.
· Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to align on the Board’s position and resolve conflicts, ensuring timely project implementation.
· Harmonise payment guidelines while assessing their implications for individual schemes, considering each scheme’s unique features.
· Oversee project initiatives and system enhancements.
What we are looking for

· Relevant experience in payment operations, disbursement management or project management.
· Experience in leading and managing teams, with the ability to motivate and drive performance.
· Strong problem-solving skills to address conflicts and complex inquiries effectively.
· High level of accuracy in financial reconciliations and payment adjustments.
· Familiarity with payment processing systems and relevant financial regulations.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration among stakeholders.
· Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Self-motivated and ready to innovate in a dynamic environment.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs.Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
