The Role

The Property Project Management Coordinator (PPMC) supports the Property Team in the delivery of property-related capital projects and operational programmes in all Clermont Hotel Group assets. The PPMC will support with day to day running of the property team, specifically the Property Project Managers as an administrative function and support with project tasks not limited to project administration, project and programme planning, invoice management, cost management, supplier management, design, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, control and governance.

What you will be doing

RPS is looking for an Associate Director Town Planner. This is a key role within our National Development & Infrastructure Planning Team, who work collaboratively with our Environment Division. Working alongside a range of multi-disciplinary services within a team of planning experts, you will be delivering on a broad range of planning applications including residential, mixed-use developments, data centres, airports, retail, logistics, major infrastructure projects and you will be helping to grow and develop business and, provide mentorship to junior planners.

What you will be doing

·Developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing business

·Directing and mentoring junior planners

· Providing input into business plans and Chair Planning Meetings, influencing debate and contributing to discussion on operational matters

· Preparing fee proposals and providing input into tender submissions

· Preparing representations to Local Plan consultations, appearing at Local Plan Examinations and assisting with appeal co-ordination and statements of case

· Presiding over small/medium & large projects including coordinating team members, project finances, overseeing solutions in line with the customer’s expectations and ensuring delivery is on time

Who are looking for?

With experience within this sector, you will already be familiar with what we’re looking for:

· Qualified MRTPI or in another relevant discipline

· A highly experienced and knowledgeable practitioner who has experience in large energy and infrastructure projects, including those requiring Environmental Impact Assessment, and those relating to Developments of National Significance and Development Control Orders

· Full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute and experience of delivering consultancy to a range of customers

· Have an established market reputation with a demonstrable record of winning sustainable and commercially viable projects

· Good financial and project management experience is essential

· Great influencing and communication techniques that enable you to build, maintain and consolidate strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and external bodies

Join our client's team as an Asset Data & Planning Officer - Sustainable Assets, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our corporate plan, asset management strategy, and investment programmes. This position ensures that the data within our asset management system is accurate, up-to-date, and continually improved to guide effective decisions and investments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain stock data within the asset management system, providing essential reports for department and business use.
• Assist the Strategic Asset & Investment Manager in creating stock condition survey schedules and long-term investment programmes.
• Provide data and reports to inform decisions on acquiring or divesting housing stock.
• Collaborate across departments to align investment with local priorities, budgets, and compliance obligations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in analyzing large datasets and effectively communicating findings.
• Understanding and ability to analyze financial data, including cost modeling.
• (Desirable) Experience with asset or property data within the housing sector.
• (Desirable) Background in major/planned works programming.
• Proven ability to deliver high levels of service to both internal and external customers.

About the Role and our Ideal Candidate

Some of the roles of this position will include but not limited to the following:

Leading on the Council’s preparedness, response and recovery arrangements under the Civil Contingencies Act.
Responsible for the development and delivery of the Council’s Emergency Planning and Business Continuity policy and strategy.
Development of specific policies and procedures to contribute to the continuous improvement in designated work area.
Coordination of the work of a team, both formally and/or as part of a project to ensure individual and team objectives are delivered.
Ensure work objectives are delivered in line with agreed standards and/or statutory requirements and effectively communicated to partners and service providers.

Our Ideal Candidate:

It’s essential that the successful candidate has relevant experience of working in Emergency Planning. They must also have an understanding of the legislation, associated guidance and industry standards relevant to Emergency Planning or Business Continuity in a local authority.

The candiate must be willing to be on the emergency planning out of hours on-call rota, this will necessitate some out of hours working including evenings and weekends due to the emergency planning on-call rota.

Good interpersonal skills and experience of working with multi-agencies and partners is desirable.
