• Write detailed electrical specifications.

Cad / Revit Proficiency:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an M&E consulting environment.
• HNC or degree qualified (recent graduates will also be considered).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiar with using Amtech software to support electrical design.

Your new role
Your new role as a Mechanical Design Engineer will be a fully encompassing role. The main involvement in the role will be in Machinery Design & Development, but also a strong involvement with: Trials and Testing, Bill of Materials, Assembly, Procurement, Technical Documentation, Research & Development and Health and Safety, making it an interesting role to get stuck into. Working within that large team of Engineers encourages both innovation and collaboration as a business.
As part of your role, you will consistently be offered Training & Development for your future. This can include paid courses and memberships, as well as on-the-job training, moving across different departments in business. This can be across production, quality, testing, assembly and maintenance to improve your skillset as an engineer.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, or a HNC/HND with relevant experience. Proficient in the use of 3D drawing packages is an advantage, Solidworks is desirable. Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous for this role too.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We seek to recruit a dedicated Teacher with a specialism in Food, and the ability to deliver KS3 Art. The applicant should be a suitably qualified, enthusiastic, and inspirational teacher with the ability to work in a team. They will be passionate about the subject and demonstrate flair whilst maintaining the very highest of standards. An ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with students is essential.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are a very well-equipped faculty with CNC machinery (3D routers, laser cutters and 3D printers) as well as a wide range of more traditional machinery. We provide state of the art facilities including extensive CADCAM rooms, electronics/3D printing room, lecture theatre and workshops.

Our curriculum includes teaching product design, electronics, and engineering to all age groups from 11-18 and occasionally to some of the primary school. The students at Liverpool College produce high quality products and solve real-life problems, frequently working with external clients, with many of our sixth formers progressing to university to study engineering, product design, construction and surveying or architecture.

To provide technical support to the teaching staff and students in the DT Department by the preparation of tools, equipment and materials for lessons and displays.

To undertake a practical health and safety role in the department.

To adopt and maintain high personal and professional standards in line with the high expectations of the faculty.
