Summary

The Art and Design programs are designed to prepare majors for their future lives as professionals in the field of art and for advanced study at the graduate level. 

The classes are designed to foster individual growth in an integrated academic studio environment.  The Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) is respected as the professional degree for Studio Art.  The Bachelor of Art (B.A.) is a second-degree option for Studio Art.

We are currently seeking an Adjunct Professor in Studio Art for the 2024 Fall Semester.

This position is In-Person

• ART 101A – Basic Drawing
Introduction to basic drawing materials, techniques, and concepts focusing on still life as subject matter.

Essential Functions

• Deliver classroom material clearly and effectively.

• Create a unified comprehensive syllabus in accordance with the College of Arts & Sciences format

• Create a course Canvas site as per the College of Arts and Sciences format

• Create, administer, and evaluatexams, papers and/or projects

• Cooperate in the safe and efficient use of studio facilities

• One office hour per week is required to help and address student questions and/or issues. 

*An optional 2 studio hours per week are available.  The rate would be an additional $250 for the semester for each additional office hour per week.

Qualifications/Requirements

• MFA Studio Art or Art History is required.

• 1-3 years of work-related experience to effectively teach the position’s responsibilities.

• Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures and the ability to use them in varied situations.

Summary

Adjunct Faculty for Graphic Design is needed to teach the following course: ART 467 - Art of Web Design II

ART 467 – ART OF WEB DESIGN II

The intent of this course is to provide an experience that integrates the design aesthetics learned in the Art of Web Design I, with a deeper exploration of coding techniques. Current industry standard software products and end-to-end website construction will be covered. This course will emphasize design principles, Responsive Web Design, navigation, and the visual interface of the website. Prerequisite: ART 367.

The applicant must have at least an MFA with practical Web Design and Development experience and be willing to teach In-person but understands that they might be asked to also teach this course remotely, if necessary.

• Master’s degree: MFA Graphic Design, Web Design, UX/UI required.

• Working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations required.

• Performance experience required.

• Must be able to create a unified, comprehensive syllabus with major topics, quizzes, due dates and exams, etc.

• Must be able to deliver classroom material (lecture, discussion, small group study, etc.) in a clear and effective manor in a way that students are able to grasp and comprehend.

• Ability to create, administer and evaluate exams, papers and/or projects.

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. 

The RF will work on the assigned project to conduct the research on development of resistive circuit design. The candidate must have good experience in the areas listed below, possesses excellent skills.

The School invites applications for one non-tenure-track Senior Lecturer/Lecturer position in Integrated Circuit Design.
 

Position Description
Applicants should have PhD degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a
closely related discipline. Candidates who have a Master degree and extensive
industry or vocational experience may also be considered. A strong background and teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: RF Integrated Circuits and Systems, Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuits and Systems, Circuits and Systems for Artificial Intelligence, Power Management Circuits and Systems, Ultra-low Power Circuits and System, Digital Circuits and Systems, Hardware Description Language, would be an advantage.
 

Fresh PhD graduates would be considered but preferences are given to candidates with relevant working/teaching experience in Universities.
 

Responsibilities
The successful candidates are expected to teach courses in the fields of Integrated Circuit Design at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
