An opportunity has arisen for a receptionist/clerical officer in the Audiology team within the Audiology & ENT clinic at Hinchingbrooke Hospital
You will be required to provide receptionist duties for ENT & Audiology and undertake a variety of clerical tasks, including dealing with telephone enquiries, booking appointments, processing referrals and actioning clinic outcomes
Working patterns will be agreed with the successful candidate, however, a flexibility in approach to working hours will be required to ensure adequate administrative cover.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate good communications skills and have previous secretarial/administrative experience that includes working the general public with an emphasis on customer care. Ideally your administrative experience will have been within a healthcare setting.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Audiology Department.
Provide a reception service to Audiology & ENT clinic.
To be the first point of contact for enquiries, handling telephone calls and emails and actioning appropriately.
Receiving and recording referral. Booking appointment for patients referred to the Audiology Department
