An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who is able to communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders to assist in delivering an effective and efficient finance and administrative support services within Facility Support Services.
Based from home with a secondary base in an office, currently at Bron Way, Cumbernauld, in this key role you will be responsible for ensuring that the admin team have timeously processed paperwork/information on a period end and year end basis ensuring compliance with financial regulations across our Catering, Cleaning, Janitorial and School Crossing Patrol services. In addition, you will manage the holiday works programme and assist in the recruitment process. FSS has 2,000 plus front-line staff mainly in Education buildings and being able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team will be essential.
With an SVQ3, HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject you need to have excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written and can prioritise/delegate workloads effectively in a busy office environment. It would be an advantage to have experience of current recruitment procedures and being able to work under pressure with often competing deadlines and high-volume workload.
To support this role, you will require –
- To be able to demonstrate significant knowledge/experience in an administrative environment whilst carrying out financial analysis and reporting
- Be customer focused to both internal and external stakeholders
- Be able to continually prioritise workloads
- Able to demonstrate significant IT skills in excel, including extracting information and pulling into reports
- Ability to understand and demonstrate experience of a reconciliation system
- Previous supervisory experience
- Flexible approach to working
Working Pattern
- Monday to Thursday 8:45am - 16:45am
- Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm
