We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised administrator to join our Outpatients Department as an Administrative Assistant. You will be responsible for providing admin and clerical support to the multi-disciplinary outpatient team and supporting the Patient pathway.
This role is ideal for an individual with excellent communication skills, who enjoys a fast-paced working environment and who can engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
This is a 37.5 hour per week role working 5 days per week Monday to Friday 7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 depending on the service need.
Role Responsibilities include:
- Ensure all paperwork and patient notes are ready for the day's outpatient clinics
- Support the clinical team with all administrative tasks
- Support Clinical Nurse Manager with Minute taking in meetings
- Input patient information onto patient administration system as appropriate
- Adhere to patient confidentiality policies and procedures at all times
Person Specification:
- Will be a highly organised and effective administrator who is able to work with all levels of clinical staff and be empathetic to patient needs
- Have experience working in administration within a healthcare environment
- You must possess excellent IT skills and be able to work to tight deadlines
- Be comfortable working within a hospital setting dealing with sensitive patient information.
