Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant/PA for their team based in Gloucester Business Park, Gloucester. The exciting opportunity will be within the Information Security team and report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer. (CISO)
Role Summary:
To support the CISO in the day-to-day organisation and management of the team. To help prepare for visitors to site and key meetings with our regulator with an ability to look ahead and plan for such events, helping the team submit their input in advance. Implementing a newly created governance for risk management within the team, this role will help embed this process and mindset across all team members. Further opportunities present themselves by way of involvement with the Supply Chain Assurance team to help set up a new process within a newly procured software system.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Diary management for the CISO
- Organising meetings, booking in visitors, meeting rooms, and coordinating diaries
- Minute taking and write up
- Organising slide packs for presentations
- Maintain risk and issues log for the team and coordinate review meetings and escalations
- Liaise with internal department members on the Corrective Action Programme and for Risk Management
- Maintain and coordinate document review and sign off for the team
- Assist the Project Manager and Security team leaders in the production and maintenance of project plans.
- Develop and maintain the project library, filing, recording and reporting systems.
- Coordinate the production of all reporting and produce regular summary reports, tailored for different audiences throughout the business and wider organisations such as Regulators.
- Set up and maintain systems for recording project costs.
- Develop and support communication mechanisms between the team members.
- Support the Supply Chain Assurance function in maintaining supplier contact details and providing administrative support where necessary
- This role requires somebody who is highly organised, dynamic, and above all a strong team player.

- Experience of working as part of a team and in actively contributing to overall team deliverables

- Experience in Information Security and related technologies
- A high degree of computer literacy including MS Office and Project and/or a willingness to learn new software applications quickly

Please note; if successful you will be employed by Manpower working on a temporary ongoing basis with our client, the duration of the role is until the end of December 2024 with scope of extending for the right candidate. You will be expected to undertake a drugs and alcohol test as well as be security checked to BPSS and SC levels.
