Job objectives and responsibilities
· Support the Director of Intelligence Operations with the strategic development of Risk and Assurance activities
· To act as the MIS SME in the provision of holistic protective security, customer experience and standards auditing for client contracts. Lead security assurance continuous improvement plans and partner liaison
· Be responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of services to MIS client
· Be responsible for building and maintaining networks and partnerships, and most importantly, creating conduits for collaborative working with clients and across the Mitie Group
· To work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of a truly intelligence-led security model
· Support the EY Head of Security and Business Resilience Leader to ensure the successful running of the Mitie / EY security account
· Be responsible for building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with Ernst & Young across the national contract including Mitie colleagues and client relationships
· To work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders, including service and contractual partners
· Undertake any other reasonable requirement as directed by the SLT
Main duties
-Support the sales team in developing and submitting client proposals.
-Conduct physical penetration tests and live scenario training, develop a testing and exercising regime across the MIS client base.
-Enable the development of a holistic risk management plan and help the operations and events manager with risk assessments and visits.
-Deliver comprehensive post engagement reports ensuring the highest quality.
-Supporting site teams and managers, customers and service providers through the delivery of workshops, reports, and regular site visits.
-Develop security strategy and procedures in support of the individual client needs.
-Conducting incident investigations, deliver post incident reports and implementing lessons learnt.
-Drive evaluation and improvement cycle for security across client base.
-AssistAccount Managers in security planning for known future events and/or emerging threats.
-Work collaboratively with the intelligence team to ensure that threat intelligence is actioned as appropriate.
-Form networks, partnerships and accessing best practice from the Assurance Manager community, security industry, relevant police networks and NPSA.
-Build and develop key networks on behalf of Mitie between the police (including CTSA's and PSO's), local authorities and other relevant key partner agencies.
-Maintain working knowledge of industry standards, regulations and initiatives.
-Be responsible for the provision of individual and team training gap analysis, identify developmental opportunities and implement a rolling plan for continued professional development.
-Mentor and coach Account Managers to achieve their full potential and support succession planning across the portfolio.
-Bring innovation to the contract, implement progressive improvements by embedding advancements in hard services as well as non-pattern forming disruptive effects through bespoke focussed patrol strategies linked to the Hostile Information Plan (HIP).
-Review, develop and enhance site-sepcific transactional documentation based on the identified top-x risks for the site and area locale, in conjunction with the overarching threat recognition document.
-Be the conduit for the promulgation of live-time intelligence from the London Intel-Service and local live-time information portals.
-Forge relationships and attend all relevant local initiatives including, but not limited to the Crime Prevention Association (CPA), City Security Council, Local Resilience Forums (LRFs), etc. and feedback best practice.

Person Specification
· PSP qualified and/or security management experience of minimum 10 years
· Proven capacity for security assurance design, development and delivery
· Previous experience in delivering standards auditing and operational readiness exercises
· Previous experience managing national contracts at a strategic level
· Established expert in team training, change management, development and mentoring
· Demonstrable capability to concept, produce and maintain improvement plans
Health and Safety responsibilities
