• Provides policy oversight and expertise for specialists assigned major capital lease projects to ensure customer satisfaction and attainment of all organizational and project goals and objectives.
• Ensures projects are completed in accordance with GSA policies and ensures all reasonable steps are taken to ensure projects are completed within each project’s budget and schedule. 
• Identifies practices and procedures which deviate from prescribed policies and procedures, directs appropriate corrective actions, and monitors its progress.
• Anticipates and resolves project related problems to the maximum extent possible within vested authority, negotiates resolution of problems not within the authority of specialists negotiating and administering contracts related to these projects, and develops contingency plans to mitigate the impact of unresolved problems.

3. Administers the CCIP Dashboard and Commander's Inspection Management Board (CIMB).
4. Analyzes, reviews, and fully implements higher-headquarters regulations and executes supplementary unit/installation inspection guidance.
5. Represents the wing/independent group in a wide variety of assessment functions at meetings, in working groups, and other situations, including emergency management events in surrounding communities.
