Responsibilities
Develop and implement an information governance framework and strategy.
Monitor compliance with information governance policies and applicable regulations.

Collaborate with IT to ensure data security and risk management protocols are enforced.
Serve as the primary point of contact for information governance-related inquiries and issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in information governance, data management, or compliance roles.
Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards.
Proficient in information governance tools and frameworks.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

To manage and provide specialist support and expertise in configuration and maintaining the Critical Care, Pre-operative, Anaesthetic and Theatre Clinical Information System and other Trust information systems used within these areas in conjunction with the ICT department and external suppliers. In charge of identifying the information system requirements of the departments and developing new solutions using software programming skills in a variety of programming languages. This will include providing assessment and strategies regarding the implementation of new technologies through research and contact with external suppliers. Lead role in the development, documentation, maintenance and support of interfaces, databases, reports, web pages and other software to support systems and data integration and to facilitate systems and data access. Apply specialist expertise in the application of Business Intelligence tools to produce, analyse, validate and present complex data from the information systems, which support the achievement of the departments objectives. This includes audit data and information used to ensure that the department complies with the DOH Guidelines. Providing a clinical technical lead for the procurement and managing the installation and configuration of 3rd party systems. Manage the use and proposed use of hardware, applications and systems software and where appropriate, act as the clinical technical lead in the projects undertaken in conjunction with ICT. Instruct staff and provide expert guidance to the Systems Administrator on the proper use of IT systems, making sure that IT policies and procedures are complied with and reporting any violations to the CCHAT Care Group Management Team. Development of a deep knowledge of clinical applications purposes, functionality, usability, potential, support and maintenance requirements, third-party contracts and their usage throughout the Trust in order to effectively advise IT and other Trust strategic decision-makers on clinical applications capacity and capabilities to support improvement of clinical care to patients. Provides technical support for IT innovation across Critical Care, Anaesthetics and Theatres. Ensures IT is aligned with Trust IT strategies informal and formal attendance at meetings with divisional business partner and CDO. As line manager to the Systems Administrator, coordinate and delegate work, review performance and development. Management of two Clinical Configuration Specialists in areas of the Clinical Applications. Including technical support, guidance and coordination of work.

Job Title: Teacher of Computer Science & Information Technology - Level 2 to Level 5

Location: Derbyshire

Salary: £24-28 pound per hour

Ongoing contract: Full time - 25.5 hours a week
