The Platform Architect is accountable for engaging with IT leaders, Programmes and Product teams, Enterprise Domain Architects and Solution Architects to jointly develop and agree strategies and roadmaps that align architecture with Thames Water’s business strategy/turnaround plan.

This role will work closely with the Product and Programme teams to own and govern the technology designs needed to deliver changes across multiple technology areas.

What you’ll be doing as a SAP Technology Lead

- Managing the strategy for a technology domain and assist delivery teams with the implementation of that strategy
- Own and produce strategies for the technology domains and work closely with the other Architects to ensure the strategies align
- Keeping current on Technology related areas by close engagement with Vendors and industry forums/events
- Own and agree the technical designs for Programmes and Product teams, provide specialist knowledge in creating the design, reaching out to vendors to supplement your knowledge if required
- Communicate the strategies to key stakeholders, Programme/Product teams and other interested parties
- Work with engineering teams to ensure that they conform to our harmonised governance processes, including the provision of architecture models where necessary

- Strong experience in Technical or Enterprise Architecture with a focus on Technology

Digital, Data & Technology Solutions Apprentice

Location: Reading

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Role Type: Full Time (35 hours per week), fixed term apprenticeship for up to 2 years

Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) apprentices will work across a range of areas including solution engineering and development, data architecture and integration, technology operations and information security. The main focus for the apprenticeship will be in cyber security.

- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the eDiscovery process framework.

- Enhance eDiscovery case management - providing comprehensive support in coordination and guidance, and in driving best practice throughout the organisation to ensure seamless integration throughout the end-to-end eDiscovery process.

- Act as the eDiscovery Subject Matter Expert for the SSE group. Promote awareness of the importance of eDiscovery by developing and delivering communications, training, education, and adoption initiatives to improve corporate knowledge about key concepts.

• Promote the project within Reading Borough Council Adult Social Care teams
• Line manage, guide and motivate a small team of practitioners such as an OT and Social Care Co-ordinator to achieve the project aims
• Support the team of practitioners to engage with users, review, assess and report on the impact of the TEC on individuals, their circle of support and Reading Adult Social Care
• Engage with services users, adult social care teams and install the available Technology Enabled Care (TEC) systems (all training will be given)
• Feed into the project evaluation

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
• Recent NHS experience
• Registered with the HCPC
