North Middlesex University Hospital is seeking a Senior AHP Information Officer to lead and support further digital transformation and optimisation of existing digital solutions.
Working with the Chief Nursing Midwifery & AHP Information Officer (CXIO), Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO), and Chief Pharmacy Information Officer (CPIO) the post holders will support the implementation of the digital strategy .
The post holders will drive continuous clinical process improvement focused on patient safety and quality.
The Senior AHP Information Officer will work as a senior leader within the Digital team, liaising with peer groups across the organisation to support digital transformation of services.
They will report to the CXIO, and occasionally deputise for same in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Hospital Trust (NMUH) is one of London’s busiest healthcare providers, providing hospital care and community services for the 350,000 people living in Enfield, Haringey and beyond.

The 0-19 service aims to improve pathways and partnerships with services in the hospital and deliver excellent care for the children and families.

• Promotes the adoption of digital working to improve patient safety, quality, outcomes, and experience.
• Leads the engagement with clinicians to enable the effective implementation of Electronic Patient Records (EPR) across the organisation and externally.
• Provides subject matter expertise to support the development and implementation of the Trust’s Digital Strategy, particularly its GDE Fast Follower Programme.
• Provides subject matter expertise for the specification, development, and implementation of new digital solutions to ensure they are clinically fit for purpose for end users.
• Supports users with adoption of new systems by providing onsite support in the clinical areas. Troubleshooting issues with adoption and feeding back to Chief Information Officers as necessary.
• Able to identify staff performance and disciplinary issues when in clinical areas and interacting with staff. Escalates as appropriate.
• Clinical expert in their area of responsibility. Experience of dealing with complex clinical issues
