The Finance Specialist works with the Shared Services Finance team to ensure the timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial information for both internal and external customers globally. This role is responsible for completing customer billings, completing assigned month-end financial close duties, and providing both Billing/Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable support as assigned.

Department support and collaboration:

• Act as primary Billing and Collections/Accounts Receivable point of contact for working portfolio assigned
• Complete assigned customer billings monthly within the deadlines
• Send invoices, account updates to clients, resolving client questions/issues related to invoices.
• Identify inconsistencies and errors in data.
• Complete Journal Entries, GL Account reconciliations, and Accruals.
• Provide thoughtful analysis and commentary on financial results.
• Support accounting group with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
• Perform account reconciliations as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance members such as AP Manager, Revenue Manager, GL Accountants, and FP&A Analysts on process changes, projects, and month-end close process.
• Handle and maintain information that is sensitive and confidential.
• Interface with multiple levels of management/Support Financial Processes.

Analytics and Process Improvements:

• Participate in Shared Services analysis project work.
• Problem-solve and recommend solutions, best practices, and process improvements in both the Revenue and AP cycle.
• Leverage strong analytical skills to audit processes, assess trends, create reports, and tell the story with data.

This role is a part of our OPF team. FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF) is a set of reusable and extensible components, frameworks, and technical services which can be assembled in different configurations to build a personalized Payment Processing System. What you bring:

• Must have experience between 7-12 years in Java Technologies.
• Must have experience on BFSI domain.
• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, ANSI SQL, XML, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, EJB, Messaging using JMS, LINUX.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Total Experience 7+ years
• Strong experience in ERP financials with Oracle Finance, Oracle Fixed Assets Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Payables, Oracle Receivables 
• Strong Experience in Oracle ERP Cloud and EBS R12 financial projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction 
• Deep understanding in Oracle Fusion Financials to drive at least three end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financial implementations.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• These duties and responsibilities represent the functions in the Billing and Partner Payment groups.

• Captures, documents and tracks all product and services sold using existing billing systems and tracking databases.

• Monitors transactions through implementation and reviews for accurate and consistent billing month over month.

• Reviews and enters contract information into billing system.

• Ensures all monthly billing data is loaded and accounted for in the billing system.
