Working to set process and templates, provide excellent supporter journeys that deliver income.

As a ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (TITLE 32), WG-6641-10, this position is located in an Air National Guard, Combat Air Force (CAF) Wing, Maintenance Group, Maintenance Squadron, Munitions Flight. The purpose of this position is to provide munitions support to the state and designated agencies in support of their taskings. This dual status technician position requires military membership.

1. Production Section is comprised of Precision Guided Munitions (PGM), Conventional Maintenance, Line-Delivery and Munitions Support Equipment Elements. Assembles/Disassembles, adjust configuration, performs maintenance/test & repair, handles and transports ammunition, rockets, unguided and guided weapons and countermeasures, demolition material, and other types of conventional ordnance such as 40MM, Cluster Bomb Units (CBU), Guided Bomb Units (GBU), general purpose bombs, aircraft canon ammunition, missile systems, decoys, countermeasures to include LUU series flares and dispensers for loading on aircraft based on Unit Committed Munitions List (UCML) and Wings training requirements. Independently troubleshoots electrical/mechanical faults of integrated systems by thoroughly analyzing operating trends. Perform Pre/Post Flight inspection and flight line return inspections. Assigns Weapon Stock Number (WSN) and records builds and teardowns of complete rounds in the accountable property system of record (APSR). Applies determined criteria utilizing fusing and arming systems; technical drawings; precision measuring tools and equipment; wiring diagrams; rigid specifications and close tolerances to examine ordnance systems using a variety of standard precision instruments, gauges and methods. Performs maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, and high pressure air tanks subsystems and assemblies. Configures Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE) for mission support. Delivers in a safe configuration, MMHE/munitions between assembly/staging areas and aircraft parking ramps. Validates expenditure and movement documentation for munitions reconciliation and expenditure reporting. Performs and certifies, armament and support equipment serviceability inspections. Maintains and repairs MMHE for all work orders assigned to maintenance actions. Performs inspections on armament, support, and associated test equipment using a wide variety of processes and techniques. Troubleshoots electrical systems on support equipment for fault isolation IAW electrical wiring schematics, repairs/replaces as required. Repairs/rebuilds hydraulic braking systems and surge brake components on MMHE to include fabrication/bending/routing of brake lines. Prepares, maintains, and updates historical serviceability and maintenance records. Establishes and maintains bench stock and operational stock program. Interprets pilot deficiency reports for missile systems to independently establish repair procedures. Repairs, maintains, and tests functionality and interconnections of electromechanical servo systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electric motor systems in missile and decoy platforms. Documents PGM serviceability in enterprise wide database Tactical Munitions Reporting System (TMRS) for equipment specialist review and trend data analysis. Coordinates with Air Logistics Complex (ALC) Special Program Offices (SPO) with Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) reporting, software/mapping updates and deficiency reporting. (35%)

2. Materiel Section is comprised of Operations, Inspections and Stockpile Management Elements. Manages allocations, stock levels, inventories, requisitions, and disposition of munitions. Validates, maintains, and provides security of accountable/auditable records. Ensures segregation of duties is maintained both physically and within the accountable property system of record (APSR). Manages excess munitions program. Coordinates scheduling of complete, custody, special munitions inventories and compiles inventory adjustment packages as required. Notifies the Munitions Accountable Systems Officer (MASO) and munitions supervision if information or data suggests mismatches, negligence, fraud, or theft involving munitions accountability. Implements forecasting and allocation procedures for munitions levels. Coordinates with the Munitions Inspection and Storage/ Handling Elements prior to requisitioning assets for inclusion in the Master Storage Plan.

As a AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC, WG-6652-10/11, this position is located in an Air National Guard Aviation Wing, Aircraft Maintenance Group, Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Weapons Element (Flight Line). This PD is applicable for the F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35 and A-10 aircraft only. The primary purpose of the position is to troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, test and adjust aircraft ordnance systems, equipment and components. On and/or off-equipment inspection, modification, overhaul, troubleshooting and repair capability of weapons release and gun systems; verifies and analyzes malfunctions, troubleshoots, tests, inspects and loads/unloads conventional munitions; installs/removes weapons delivery equipment, launchers and gun systems.

(1) Operates, analyzes performance, troubleshoots, inspects, installs, maintains, overhauls, repairs and modifies operational ordnance system(s) and subsystems consisting of numerous complex electronic components in fighter aircraft. Examples of individual subsystems or components are: computerized stores management systems or programmable armament control systems, fire/control avionics, fire control sensing, targeting systems, digital multiplex data bus systems, electronic countermeasures equipment, weapons/avionics video display systems and discrete weapons/avionics systems and ensures compatibility of systems and their interfaces through operational test, system alignment and harmonization.

(2) Analyzes performance and isolate malfunctions to individual subsystems and or components of bombing/navigation, fire-control/weapons delivery, weapons multi-sensor displays and external electro-mechanical weapons systems, electro-optical targeting pod/weapon interfaces, R/F electronic countermeasures systems, target radar tracking and missile tracking radar. Reviews and analyzes aircrew debriefs and data transfer equipment information to aid in resolving in-flight discrepancies encountered and isolates unusual system anomalies within the complete system using technical manuals, schematics, logic and wiring diagrams, tools and test equipment including automatic test equipment. Solves aircraft ordnance malfunctions by analyzing the installation, circuitry and operating characteristics of the electronic ordnance system. Adjusts and aligns sensors, transmitters, power supplies, display devices, controls, actuators, servos, computers and other interrelated components. Performs bore sighting of the complete system to ensure alignment of all components of the electronic weapons delivery system such as radar, aerial gun system, pilot s HUD, Angle Of Attack (AOA) and aircraft Inertial Navigation System (INS). Removes faulty LRU s for shop repair and identifies faulty subassemblies such as bad circuit cards, random access memory, operational flight program (OFP) and various electronic circuits and installs serviceable components into aircraft. Inspects completed maintenance to ensure compliance of technical directives and initiates the necessary forms to ensure documentation is correct and entered in the aircraft historical records.

(3) Removes, repairs, installs, inspects and conducts operational performance checkout of aircraft ordnance and isolates malfunctions and identifies if failures are in specific LRU s, aircraft weapons, avionics multiplex data bus matrix assemblies, or aircraft digital data wiring. Removes faulty units (matrix assemblies) and isolates problems to failing component parts using self-test diagnostics, oscilloscopes, frequency meters, signal generators, digital and differential voltmeters, milliohm meters, computer registers, impedance analyzers/multiplex data bus test equipment, and other special and standard tools and test equipment. Removes and replaces components or assemblies down to the smallest bit, piece, or module authorized, using special and common hand tools, special electronic instruments, and soldering devices along with high-reliability soldering techniques.

(4) Loads/unloads, positions and safeties air munitions using applicable technical data and handling equipment. Tests suspension, launch and release systems to ensure proper manual/electrical release on equipment. Analyzes on equipment malfunctions and repairs systems and performs aircraft weapons systems functional checks utilizing system peculiar electronic testing equipment and special tools and tests the aircraft electronic circuitry for normal operation of the ordnance system and absence of stray electrical power.

As a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-2130-9, this position is located in the Distribution Section of the Deployment and Distribution Flight, Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, at an ANG Aviation Wing. This is an Air National Guard (ANG) Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification. The purpose of this position is to serve as a Distribution Traffic Management Specialist, which provides technical expertise, support and execution relating to the movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel for both peacetime and wartime. Manages, directs, develops, plans, and analyzes Deployment and Distribution programs.

1. Serves as the technical transportation advisor to all statewide operating officials on all matters dealing with commercial movement of personnel and equipment. Analyzes and advises on transportation considerations relative to the domestic and international movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel via all commercial transportation modes. Assist in the development of, maintains, and exercises the commercial traffic functions of mobilization plans, as well as training programs for managers and mobilization augmentees on related transportation subjects. Provides input to the Defense Movement Coordinator (DMC), as required, with the preparation of the commercial transportation portions of the Automated Unit Equipment List (AUEL). Analyzes traffic data and characteristics to determine areas of potential improvement and makes recommends for changes to the Traffic Manager; identifies economic and efficient uses of transportation; and projects mission transportation requirements. Obligates and executes funding for the commercial transportation mission. (25%)

2. Ensures that traffic management and transportation services required to support the mission are accomplished. This includes services incident to receiving, processing, and dispatching commodity and passenger traffic; to include demurrage charges, drayage and other accessorial services not directly related to line-haul movements. Insures the preparation of Transportation Discrepancy Reports (TDR) and other documents in support of government claims against carriers for freight loss and damage or failure to provide contracted services. 3. Inspects, or provides for inspection of, commercial carrier terminals to locate and expedite delivery of astray government shipments. Ensures carrier capability complies with government requirements and specifications. Manages the Carrier Performance Program for the state and provides input to the Traffic Manager for the overall program. (15%)

4. Procures domestic and international travel for both military and civilian passengers. Reviews the travel arrangements provided by the Travel Services Contractor ensuring that special fares and/or discounts are utilized when feasible. Ensures advance procurement of transportation services to achieve greatest overall cost efficiency and oversees the audit of the Travel Services Contractor for application of appropriate discounts for official travel. Monitors the approved Travel Agent for official travel for quality assurance as an Assistant Contract Officer Representative (ACOR). Advises travelers on entitlements and responsibilities and manages the processing of refunds for unused commercial tickets into the government accounting system. Ensures all travel requests are accompanied by approved travel orders and reconciles billing of requested travel services. The purpose of this position is plan, coordinate, and perform comprehensive Accounting and Financial Management analysis, decision support and quality reviews, of base level accounting and financial management programs.

1. Independently performs and examines financial management functions to ensure internal and external accounting systems and administrative controls are sufficient to confirm that obligations and disbursements comply with applicable laws, and that funds are safeguarded against waste, loss, and misappropriation. Reviews accounting and pay documents, travel vouchers, and vendor payments to ensure supporting documentation is proper and valid. Performs post-audit voucher reviews. (25%)

2. Aggregates data from multiple financial and accounting systems and sources in order to directly or indirectly provide the Comptroller, Wing Commander, United States Property and Fiscal Officer (USPFO), National Guard Bureau (NGB), Unites States Air Force (USAF), DFAS, Department of the Treasury and senior level management with accurate and timely financial reporting. Ensures the proper documentation, accounting, and auditability of funds, and their traceability to the USPFO in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations and/or applicable laws. (25%)

3. Analyzes and accurately processes financial services transactions (i.e., payroll, debts, and miscellaneous entitlements) while applying quality assurances techniques. This is an Air National Guard dual status technician position that requires military membership, compatible military skill assignment and classification. The primary purpose of this position is to carry-out a wide range of public affairs assignments that include social media, media operations, community engagement, command information, communication planning, contingency/crisis response, environmental, security, policy review, and public affairs resource management in support of the mission and the commander's priorities. The position modifies standard methods, evaluates the effectiveness of information, and adapts approaches in developing new informational materials aimed at enhancing the understanding of recipients.

1. Prepares internal and external public affairs products for distribution through social media, DVIDS, wing website, and release to civilian media, as applicable. Researches and writes stories/articles and rewrites material intended for distribution. Shoots related photos and video, as required. Edits and revises products for style, format and content; and, reviews and edits photography and artwork for quality and composition. May design overall products. Accesses public affairs' products to DVIDS per current DoD procedures. Responds to requests for information, materials, and support; and, plans and conducts community engagement activities with community officials and groups. Maintains an active web/social media presence; provides visual information services for documentation and/or publicity purposes; and, plans and arranges news media coverage. For approved events, coordinates support of requests from community and community groups, schools, news media organizations, and others to include requests for interviews, speakers, tours, bands, honor guards, and aviation support and support of local observances and celebrations. Prepares and ensures distribution of customer satisfaction/opinion surveys on internal information products. Evaluates feedback to determine customer needs and uses comments to improve future output. 2. Performs work for the production/management/maintenance of electronic and web-based information products. Implements and ensures the quality of the Hometown News Release program. Publicizes the programs, monitors, logs, and disseminates releases. Writes draft and final versions of news releases, feature articles, speeches, fact sheets, and brochures for internal and external audiences. Updates unit mission briefings and develops additional informational briefings as needed. Confers with program specialists, action officers, and other subject matter experts to obtain the latest and most accurate information and imagery approved for public releases. Prepares requests for photographer or graphic support; takes photographs; and, selects and edits photographs and electronic images to accompany articles and media releases. Provides historical documentation support. Provides photographic and video support for alert mission to include mishaps. Performs security reviews on information placed on the unit's public web-page and social media feed(s). Assists in the overall design of unit's web "home-page".(35%)

3. Organizes, coordinates, publicizes and conducts periodic events with local organizations such as, community councils, local governments, Chamber of Commerce, and, state and national legislative offices. Assists with organizing and conducting larger events such as, Civic Leader Tours, Base Open-House activities, and Armed Forces Days, which are designed to promote positive relations between the base and surrounding communities. Accomplishes administrative support work such as, preparing correspondence, press kits and handouts, arranging for passes, and compiling data.(15%)

4. Responds, in a timely manner, to media queries concerning special events, mobilizations, exercises, aircraft incidents, or accidents. Clears responses with appropriate authority before releasing information. Confers with subject matter experts to obtain latest and most accurate information for use in news releases on social media, radio, TV networks, newspapers or other public forums. Coordinates and responds to news media inquiries on the mission, capabilities, impacts, and contributions of the base.(10%)

• Leads and manages the Computational Aerosciences Branch with the Branch Chief by providing supervisory oversight, technical guidance, and personnel coordination in a complex and high-performing organization.

• Develops the techniques and tools necessary for science investigations, e.g., computer codes, sensors and other instrumentation and devices used in experiments.
• Facilitates the development of technologies to enable astrophysics research.
• Conducts development of data reduction pipelines and underlying algorithms, data analysis tools, and the delivery of scientific data products.
• Monitors contracted work either externally or on-site in the facility of the contractor.

DUTY 1: Administers the Information Security Program protecting the enterprise from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material considered vital to enterprise mission interests, national defense or national security.
DUTY 2: Directs the personnel security program to ensure secure accomplishment of the enterprise's missions, goals and objectives through proactive application of security principles, policies, and practices.
DUTY 3: Provides enterprise and subordinate organizations worldwide with authoritative guidance on aspects concerning physical security programs for the protection of classified national security information, both Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral information.
DUTY 4: Manages the Industrial Security Program. Provides effective guidance, training, and direction to subordinate assigned organizations/activities/units on industrial security program matters.
