• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive, basic, and intermediate level services. Identify and recommend program resource requirements. Provide technical guidance to all staff personnel that perform duties in support of the mission.

• Perform a variety of field, captive animal, and laboratory procedures, including the use of BSL-2 and BSL-3 animal and laboratory facilities.

• Immobilize and euthanize under field conditions; collect and process biological specimens (e.g., blood and tissue).
