Assists in developing and implementing marketing programs for the FSS Squadron. Under the direction of the Marketing Director, assists in determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation and increase financial income to FSS activities. Through subordinates, produces necessary and appropriate FSS publicity to include: FSS newspaper supplements, FSS publication, brochures, booklets, flyers, posters, etc. Supervises personnel in the site marketing department and effectively plans schedules, assigns, directs the work of others in an equitable manner. Makes supervisory decisions that will result in obtainable goals and well -balanced marketing of the FSS activities. Effectively performs supervisory personnel administrative responsibilities, initiates personnel actions and participates in the interview/selection process or new employees to fill vacant site positions, schedules and grants leave, deals effectively with employees on employee suggestions, complaints, grievances, and other matters involved in the day-to-day administration of the office. Duties

• Serves as clerical support for the Chief Nurse (CN) of Ambulatory Care Remote sites- Nursing Service.
• The primary function of the position requires the employee to perform all clerical duties required to support the CN. The incumbent coordinates prioritization of work with the CN to assure that work is completed in a timely manner.
• Performs typing and filing, prepares materials for publication such as pamphlets, certificates, forms, graphs, technical manuals or comparable items.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the centralized focal point for the commander to manage administrative controls to ensure safety, security, well-being, and accountability of all basic military training (BMT) trainees assigned to the squadron. Additionally, in the evening serves as the commander's representative, empowered to make decisions to handle or elevate to leadership situations that arise based on prescribed policy guidance and sound judgment.

DUTIES

This position is responsible for carrying out a variety of health information functions. The incumbent performs duties related to the receipt, intake, scanning, indexing, quality control, destruction, and transfer of health and administrative information. The incumbent is responsible for electronically scanning various health information documents into VistA Imaging and assuring that the scanned documents are associated to the correct patient, consult or progress note for all Administrative, In-house Clinical and Community Care Record document types in the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS). The incumbent must follow scanning procedures established by the National Regulations and Scanning SOP to include administrative quality checks of all documents prior to scanning/indexing. After completing the scanning and indexing process, confirms record integrity and reviews the image quality in the VistA Imaging display. Ensures regular quality checks are carried out according to prescribed timeframes and criteria. The incumbent notifies the Supervisor when images are scanned into the wrong patient's record, are indexed incorrectly or are corrupted.

When records are received, the incumbent reviews documents for appropriate scanning criteria and ensures that all necessary health/administrative information meeting the criteria is integrated into CPRS through the PC scanning software and hardware. The incumbent ensures prior to scanning that all paper clips, staples, tape, and loose hanging tape are removed from the documents. The incumbent scans all documents by indexing using the appropriate Clinical or Administrative setup buttons in VistA Capture to index into VistA Imaging to facilitate future reference. The incumbent also correctly indexes all documents imported from other devices or sources, including pdf, tiff, jpeg files, etc. in VistA Imaging. Maintains confidentiality of all electronic records and paper components of the health record; follows appropriate procedures when mailing and destroying health information in paper or electronic format; and ensures sensitive (employee-Veteran) health records are maintained in an extra-secure manner and available only to requestors in the scope of their official duties.

This position has direct responsibility for the delivery of classroom training for vocational and apprenticeship courses in the field/trade of Dog Trainer.

Cleans, oils, and polishes the bowling lanes and lane approaches adhering to established standards. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Hand sands and varnishes minor flaws in lanes until surface can be conditioned. Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary, and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Maintains stock levels and records on spare parts for automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical effort: Heavy physical effort is required in frequent lifting and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds, and in using heavy hand tools and operating equipment. Working conditions: Works indoors in areas that may be dusty, drafty, and noisy. Special care is required to avoid serious injuries. Requires caution in working with moving parts during operation of equipment.

This Assistant Federal Security Director - Generalist position is located at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected, you will be responsible for supporting the Federal Security Director (FSD) by providing day to day direction for airport security and operations at airports with multiple checkpoints and a workforce. Duties include but are not limited to:
