As a Management Analyst, the incumbent will perform the following duties:

• The working title for this position is Data Analyst. As a Data Analyst you will collect, analyze, and report on workforce data to include furlough and succession planning data for managers and senior leaders across the National Weather Service (NWS) enterprise.
• Conduct complex analysis for workforce and organizational strategic planning and process improvement, and makes recommendations
• Develop business rules and/or reports to support complex analytical work and the distribution of data.

• You will perform project engineering duties including preparation of cost proposals, planning project execution, providing technical oversight, preparing written procedures/permits.
• You will develop engineering solutions to problems, and communicate project results both orally and in writing.
• You will monitor decontamination and disposal work for compliance with procedures and modify procedures as needed to accomplish goals.
• You will troubleshoot and solve complex issues both technical and systemic relating to the development and production of energetic materials.
• You will support a manufacturing organization.
• You will be required to report to the duty location advertised in the announcement on a regular and reoccurring basis. Occasional telework options may be available.
