Reed Industrial are hiring in Stockport! We have an exciting opportunity for a well-versed and dedicated Stock Controller to join our client!
The role
In this role, you will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and managing inventory levels across both production and warehouse areas. - Full-Time, Permanent Role - £28,000 annual salary - 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
Key accountabilities
• Daily stock counts, monitor levels, maintain optimal inventory. • Resolve stock issues, prevent errors, report findings. • Track stock with Sage 200 ERP, generate reports, analyse data. • Streamline processes, develop SOPs, participate in audits. • Align with teams, ensure material availability, communicate status.
Skills & experience
• 3+ years in stock control or inventory management (manufacturing/warehouse preferred). • Proficient in Sage 200 ERP and WMS. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of inventory control best practices, cycle counting, and loss prevention. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks accurately.
