What's this role about?

The Account Development Executive role in Chubb offers you the opportunity to

connect customers with products that meet their needs, by marketing Chubb's

insurance policies to the mass markets through outbound telemarketing.

In this role you will...

• Deliver sales targets and meet campaign key performance indicators (KPIs)
• which includes sales targets, call quality and operational standards
• Conduct telemarketing calls to promote General Insurance products with
• clear product knowledge and references, to existing and prospective
• customers
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell
• Convert leads provided by the company to sales through telemarketing
• activities
• Ensure all call activities are conducted with full adherence to regulations and
• in line with Quality Assurance standards
• Update customer information in the database
• Note: Relevant training will be provided

What we're looking for

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' level/SPM equivalent
• Prior experience working in telemarketing or sales function and/or
• the financial services sector preferred
• Insurance Certificate in General Insurance (BCP, PGI, HI) will be an added advantage

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Proficient in English
• Comfortable with outbound calls and stakeholder interactions
• Confident communicator with good verbal skills

Training

• Chubb has a unique study and training program where candidates will be well supported.
• Trainer will be there to teach them on the insurance papers and how to pass the papers
• While attending Study Program, candidates will still be paid for their basic salary
• All training and exams will be sponsored (up to 6 times)

Commission Info / Sales Target

• Trainee Target: $3500
• Threshold (within 6 months of hire): $6000 (easy to achieve), anything above will be commissioned
• Average commission: $500 - $6000 (Typical closure will give you about $500 sales amount)
• No rollover
• Commission tiering starts from 8%, 10%, 12%, 22% (Highest tiering would require $20K sales)

Bonus

New hires under the Study Program will receive retention bonus in 2 payments, provided the following criteria is met:

1. Within 6 months of employment

• Achieve Category C Targets*
• Receive $1,000 retention bonus

2. Within 1 year of employment

• Achieve Category B Targets* for 4 months (need not be consecutive months)
• Receive another $1,500 retention bonus

*Category B and Category C Targets will be shared with the candidates after they are successfully onboarded with Chubb.

For candidates who have already been shortlisted and accepted our offer prior to this announcement, we will manage them separately once they join us.

Responsibilities: 

• Provides excellent services and establish long term business relationships with existing customers
• Ensure close follow-up with customers to close the sales deal
• Provide support and after-sales service to customers, including problem solution, provide advice / consultancy, attend enquiries, complaints and order by regular visits to maintain a good relationshi
• Assist and follow-up payment collection
• Prepare action plans for effective search of new and prospects customers
• To conduct effective presentation, work out the best proposal and negotiate pricing with customers
• To assist in planning of sales strategy to achieve the annual business plan
• Identified new markets and business opportunities by cold calling/meeting target assigned by management
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as and when assigned by Management

Requirements

• Bachelor degree related disciplines
• At least 1 years’ experience in Business Development Executive
• Good in written English
• Possess own transportation
• Flexible, well-organized, fast-paced, goal-oriented, able to work independently and willing to communicate with different parties internally and externally

Position Title (New): Nyonya Kueh Chef – Junior Sous Chef

• Job Description & Requirements
• Creation and Presentation: Responsible for the creation, decoration, and presentation of Nyonya kueh based on Singapore’s standards.
• Decoration: Decorate kueh using various techniques and toppings to ensure they are visually appealing and exciting.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stocks for ingredients such as rice flour, coconut milk, pandan leaves, etc., and make appropriate orders within budget.
• Quality Control: Check the quality of materials and the condition of equipment and devices used for making kueh.
• Staff Guidance: Guide and motivate kitchen assistants and cooks to work more efficiently in preparing Nyonya kueh.
• Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Supervision: Manage and supervise the entire kueh preparation area and the activities of all chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
• Reporting: Report to the Head Chef on all operational matters.
• Hands-On Involvement: Be physically involved in all phases of the daily operation requirements.
• Training: Demonstrate new cooking techniques and use of new equipment to staff.
• Menu Management: Update recipe cards and menu planning for promotions.
