Multi-Trade Operative
Leeds – covering West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas

We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our team based in Leeds. This role sits within the Planned and Minor Works Team and will involve a mixture of team and lone working. With a company van and tools included the role will cover West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.
The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:
- Carry out larger day to day jobs, voids, major repairs and capital replacements
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
- Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
- Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:
- To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (plumbing,carpentry,electrical) NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
- Skills in some of the following disciplines – plumbing, plastering, joinery installation is desired
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
